Larry Stanton Wiese – President

He graduated in 1990 with honors from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1995 with a Juris Doctor and is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia. He currently serves as the Executive Director and General Counsel at Kappa Alpha Order, a national collegiate men’s social fraternity headquartered in Lexington, Virginia. He also serves as the Executive Director of the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation and the Secretary and Treasurer of the Fraternity Housing Corporation. [Learn more about Larry.]


Benjamin W. “Ben” Satcher, Jr. – Executive Vice President

He served as the 37th Knight Commander of Kappa Alpha Order. Ben’s primary focus is raising major gifts from KA alumni in order to support KAOEF sponsored programs for our undergraduate brothers. He also oversees funding for the E. Fleming Mason Memorial Internship and assists with the KA Leadership Fund and KAOEF Planned Giving initiatives. He has volunteered for the Order since 1984. After local chapter volunteer positions, he served as Province Commander of South Carolina from 1991-95 and then as a member of the Executive Council from 1995-2007. Andrew P. Carr – Chief Development Officer

Andrew Phillip Carr (Epsilon Iota–Texas State ’00) is a Director of Development for the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation (KAOEF). Andrew came to the Foundation following a return to the Order’s staff in 2010 and serving for three years as an associate director for chapter development. His primary responsibilities are the cultivation and solicitation of mid-level gifts (primarily for the Crimson & Gold Society and Forever KA programs) in assigned geographic areas. He also assists the Executive Director and staff in all areas of operation in accordance with the KAOEF bylaws. [Learn more about Andrew.]


Tanner L. Gellinger – Director of Development

Tanner L. Gellinger (Zeta Omicron–Southern Indiana ’12) is a director of development for the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation.  Tanner previously served the Order as an associate director for chapter development from 2016 to 2018. Tanner graduated in May, 2016, with a degree in criminal justice and a minor in sociology. Tanner served as Number I, Number II, and Frampton Province Undergraduate Chairman. His primary responsibility will be to assist in achieving the goal of the Crimson & Gold Society Campaign. [Learn more about Tanner.]


Aaron D. Masey – Director of Annual Giving and Stewardship

Aaron D. Masey is the Director of Annual Giving and Stewardship for the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation. Aaron began his role with the Order in June of 2016. Aaron graduated cum laude from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, with a focus in Business Information Technology. Aaron has spent the past 12 years working in the real estate business as a title and escrow processor. He is an active member of the Lexington-Rockbridge Jaycees and was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Rockbridge Area YMCA. Teresa Sloan – Foundation Assistant

Teresa Sloan joined the staff of the KAOEF in September 2021 and comes to us from Shenandoah Valley Landscaping, Inc., where she served as the office manager for eight years. Prior to that, Teresa was a FAC specialist contractor for the Virginia Army National Guard Family Programs for five years. She lives in Buena Vista, Virginia with her husband, Alan, and they have one son. [Learn more about Teresa.]
