The 1865 Trust recognizes the generosity and foresight of those who choose to embrace the visions of KA's future by making a meaningful planned gift to the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation (KAOEF). Their entrance into the ranks of the 1865 Trust bears powerful testimony to the charitable expressions of their values, ideals, and commitment to Kappa Alpha Order's future. Membership in the 1865 Trust recognizes those who have made provisions for a planned gift of $10,000 or more to the KAOEF. Most of our alumni in the 1865 Trust will fulfill their gift through one of the most common, and perhaps easiest, ways of making a planned gift, by naming the KAOEF in their wills or as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or an IRA. Their gift to the KAOEF, just as others have, will help ensure the Order's strength and continued success, by ensuring that each of the educational programs, (i.e. Number I's Leadership Institute, The Crusade, and Enhanced Province Councils) remain available for undergraduates to participate in, and to learn at little or no cost to them.

The KAOEF is committed to providing an opportunity for alumni, family and friends alike to make a meaningful gift to the KAOEF, and to leave behind a lasting legacy that would help ensure the future of our beloved Order.
